Events

I’m so missing meeting readers in person, but virtual get-togethers are the next best thing! Join me at the following events, from wherever you are in the world.

Friday 12th June 2020, 7pm (BST)

The Summer Festival of Writing (1st June to 5th September)

I’m delighted to be part of this three-month digital festival for emerging writers. For £150, you’ll receive access to more than fifty events, all designed to help you take your writing to the next level.

Tuesday 16th June 2020, 1pm (CDT)

Left Bank Books (now available to watch)

I had a great time talking with New York Times bestselling author Ruth Ware about our latest books, and answering readers’ questions. Hosted by Left Bank Books, St Louis, Missouri.

Saturday 20th June 2020, 12pm (MT)

Poisoned Pen (now available to watch)

I loved visiting Poisoned Pen, a fabulous bookstore in Scottsdale, Arizona, when I toured in the US a few years ago. I was delighted to go back – albeit virtually – along with New York Times sensation Rosie Walsh, author of Ghosted.

Wednesday 24th June 2020, 12pm (CT) / 1pm (ET)

The Book Cellar (now available to watch)

When I was researching the Chicago sections of After the End, I couldn’t resist popping into this small but perfectly formed bookshop. I even wrote a chapter there, so it was wonderful to go back to talk about the finished book. I was joined by one of my favourite authors, Lisa Jewell.

Tuesday 4th August 2020, 7pm (ET)

Where the Sidewalk Ends (Zoom)

I’ll be heading to Chatham, Massachusetts, for the final event in this virtual US tour. Accompanying me is local author Lisa Genova, former neuroscientist and bestselling author of Still Alice. Her latest novel is Every Note Played, and I can’t wait to talk to Lisa about it. (If you’re in the UK, this event will start at midnight).

Tuesday 18th August 2020, 4pm (PT)

Warwick’s Books (Zoom)

In January 2017 I visited La Jolla, California, as part of a US tour, and I fell head over heels with the place. It’s a beautiful town, with a fantastic bookshop, so I’m really excited to be ‘visiting’ for an event. I’ll be chatting to Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke, as part of their excellent Couch Surfing Book Tour series (If you’re in the UK, this event will start at midnight).
