I wrote last year about The Book With No Name. The book which is due to be published later this year, which has been written and rewritten more times than I can count. Choosing a name is a hugely difficult process. It needs to take into account the story itself, as well as the intended audience and the book’s position in a crowded market. It needs to be memorable, work on a cover and on the spine of a book, and hint at what might lie between the pages.
I’m both delighted and relieved to announce that – thanks to my wonderful editor Lucy Icke – The Book With No Name finally has a name. I love it, and although I can’t tell you without spoiling the story exactly why it’s so perfect, I know that when you read the book, you’ll understand.
I LET YOU GO will be published by Sphere in ebook and Trade Paperback in October 2014, and in paperback in April 2015.
